Hillary Clinton Fights On

Hillary Clinton managed to win Pennsylvania yesterday by a pretty good margin (almost 10%), and will continue to press on in this election hoping by some miracle she can pull off a win. This is good news for Republicans, because as long as this race for the Democratic nomination continues the longer Republicans essentially have to do nothing. John McCain is in a position where he does not have to attack Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama, because as long as they are fighting for the nomination they are attacking themselves.

You are already seeing signs of disgruntled Democratic voters who are tired of the internal struggle, and are looking for alternative options. Many democrats have come out and have said that if their candidate does not get the nomination they will cross over and vote for John McCain, which would be like voting in the Democratic Party anyway. While John McCain continues to try to appeal to conservative voters his record is working against him, but the one thing he has on his side that will turn many conservatives to him in November is that he is the better choice than the two Stalinist running for the Democratic Party now.

It is no surprise that Hillary Clinton has not chosen the smart thing to do, and just bow out gracefully and allow Barack to take the Democratic nomination. After all, she may have been given an invitation to run as his running mate, which I would not count out just yet. I have a feeling that these two will be running mates come November. I have been saying it since the beginning of this race for the White House, and despite their personal attacks on each other I still believe that it is a good possibility. When the primaries started there was a lot of hype on the side of the Democrats, but things may have been different if the leftist media was not doing all in their power to shelter Barack Obama in the beginning of the race, and if all the dirt that has surfaced lately had come out a couple of months ago Obama probably would not be in the position that he is in now.

Democrats are slowly losing the hype, and the excitement that they once had in this race, and it will work in the favor of John McCain. The more Clinton and Obama fight the more it looks like McCain could win in the general election.
