Questioning Barack’s Patriotism

It has become the norm that anyone who attacks Barack Obama and questions his patriotism is racist for doing so despite obvious justifications bringing Barack Obama’s true love for this country into question. He refuses to wear the American flag lapel, and while I did not believe the reason he gave for not doing so I let it slide. It then becomes clear that in many circumstances Barack Obama will refuse to salute our nation’s flag. Advocated for Barack Obama claimed that these two incidents alone were not enough to condemn Obama for not being patriotic. While I disagree perhaps it is important to focus on more recent events.

Some may have heard that Barack Obama decided that the American Flag was not good enough to be on the tail of his plane, instead he had it replaced with his logo. Now, he could have put his symbol anywhere on his plane, but it seems like he would rather not have people associate him with the country he is from, because by replacing the American Flag with that infamous O logo of his he is saying that he is above America, and simply that he is not proud of the country he is from.

Some might argue that the changing of the American Flag to his logo is just to maintain this rock star image that he seems so keen on holding on to. Well, Obama believes himself to be so high and mighty that he wants the world to view him as if he was already the president of the United States, which was apparent in his European tour. Of course, while he wants to be seen as if he was the President himself he does not want Europeans or the rest of the world to see him as an American citizen. In his speech that he gave in Germany in a spot that he has not earned the right to speak at in the first place he wanted those who attended and those watching not to see him as an American citizen, but as a presidential candidate and a citizen of the world. It is insulting that Obama believes that he is so high that he can speak in the very spot that Ronald Reagan, who lead the charge in the fall of the Soviet Union, gave his famous speech in which he challenged Soviet General Secretary Mikail Gorbachev to tear down the Berlin Wall. It is a sacred spot for many Germans, and is a key historical site for the country, which begs the question as to what Obama thinks he has done to deserve the honor of speaking near the Brandenburg Gate?

He does not want to be viewed as a citizen of the United States, because he is not proud of the country he is from. I am not a citizen of the world; I am a citizen of the United States of America. I believe in the sovereignty of this country. The irony of Obama speaking at the Brandenburg Gate, and possibly the greatest insult is that if he was in Reagan’s position he would not have done anything to combat the Soviet Union, because he himself is a socialist. News outlets around the country talked about how he received a welcoming reception from many Europeans, but with the amount of socialists in Europe I am not surprised.

I believe that part of what it means to be patriotic is to not only love your country, which Obama obviously doesn’t, but also to support and honor those who sacrifice everything to defend it. Barack Obama does not support our troops. He goes to Iraq only after he is pressured into doing so, and visits our troops in Afghanistan for the first time. He was originally scheduled to visit soldiers who had been injured on the battle field, but canceled it when the Pentagon wouldn’t allow him to bring cameras. It was only a PR stunt. He only wanted Americans to see him shaking hands of wounded soldiers to make it look like he cared about them, that he supported and honored them. If Barack Hussein Obama cared for our troops he would have visited those who were injured serving this country regardless of whether he was allowed to bring cameras or not, but Obama only sees our troops as a means to an end.

For those who noticed I did use Obama’s middle name, because I am tired of hearing that it is racist and inappropriate for people to call him Barack Hussein Obama when that is his actual name. I do question Obama’s patriotism, because he does not love this country. Barack is not proud of this country, and he does not support those who fight to protect it.
