Obama Doesn’t Know What He Is Up Against

On Tuesday, Sen. Barack Obama (D-IL) guaranteed that he will win the presidential election, and said that Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) does not know what he is up against. During this speech one cannot help, but notice that Obama is getting much more aggressive in his speeches. He use to be calm, collect, and elegant in his speech, but that does not seem to be the case as of late. Rush Limbaugh said yesterday on his program that he believes that Barack Obama is losing it, because he is. While Obama continues to say that McCain has underestimated him in reality it is Obama who seems to have underestimated John McCain.

According to an article released by breitbart.com, the Obama camp is accusing John McCain of running a dishonorable campaign against the Democratic senator from Illinois, and that he is acting on reckless desperation for questioning Barack Obama’s patriotism. On Wednesday, John McCain stated that he was not questioning Barack’s patriotism, but rather his judgment on his initial position of the surge in Iraq that has turned out to be a military success. I am questioning Barack’s patriotism. I won’t sugarcoat it, and it has nothing to do with stance on Iraq either. Barack Hussein Obama does not love this country, and it is evident in his actions and his words. Obama rather be a citizen of the world than a proud sovereign citizen of the United State of America. He refuses to salute our flag, he doesn’t support our troops, and he would rather have his logo on the tail of his jet rather than the American flag that use to be there, because he believes himself above this country, and he does not want people to associate himself with the country that he is running to be the next president of. There is plenty of justification for questioning Obama’s patriotism.

Barack Obama does not know what he is up against. John McCain has had over twenty years experience on Capital Hill, while Obama has barely served one term as a senator. McCain has had more than enough experience in these types of elections, and while Obama seems to be losing his composure, McCain is staying collected. Daily Gallup tracking shows Obama and McCain about even among voters and the Politico is predicting that if we were to have the vote today McCain would have more electoral votes than his Democratic opponent. The Obama campaign is tracking these numbers. They see that this is not going to be as easy of a race as they might have originally thought, so they are out on the attack.

Barack Obama and the Obama camp have said that John McCain and the Republicans have become desperate in their attempts to keep Barack from winning this election because they “will run negative ad after negative ad, attack after attack, with the goal of making you lose focus on the issues. … and focus on me and try to make me out to be a risky, scary guy.” (Politico)
John McCain doesn’t have to act out of desperation. He is dead even in the polls with Sen. Obama. In fact, his poll numbers are actually rising while Obama’s have been at a stalemate. How desperate does it come off when you spend more money on ads than your opponent does on his entire campaign? According to Bloomberg.com Obama spent $33 million on advertisements alone in July, while John McCain spent $32.4 million on his entire campaign, $18.7 million on ads. Obama constantly criticizes McCain for running so many attack ads when in reality Barack has more attack ads out there than McCain. After examining the facts one must ask one’s self: Who is really acting on reckless desperation?

  1. why will people not vote for him…it’s not the color of the skin — it’s the content of character, of which Barack Obama has none.

  2. I agreed Jim, but neither does mcfascist. Which is why I shall not vote for either.

  3. Nice forecast Shawn.

Is there any chance you can reverse the names now that Obama is up by double digits after Schmidt/McCain/Palins baseless, moronic attacks??
