I’m not saying I disagree or agree with your post, but if you’re willing to say that a majority of Americans speak English, I’d be willing to disagree and challenge you, as if we were to take total population of the Americas (North, Central and South America) into account, Spanish would clearly blow English out of the water. You would be completely correct if you were to say that the majority of the total population of North America were English speakers.

As a citizen of the United States who’s chosen to study and live in Costa Rica, part of Central America, as an English teacher, I’ve learned just how naive and vain the people in my country can be, and how offensive it really is to the Latin American countries, as they are also Americans.

I just thought I would clarify that for you.

I hope she has plans to move the reactionary political ideology o the obstructionists party of NO to the center. The sheep following Limbaugh, Hannity, Beck, O”riely and the rest of the far right wing shock jocks continues to dwindle. The defacto leader of the GOP(Limbaugh)continues to call for flushing and purging the party of Moderates and Rinos. Only 20 to 24 percent of the voters are now calling themselves Republicans and that continues to drop. With the changing demographics those that call themselves Lndependents, Moderates, and Rinos have no use for a party hijacked by the religious right. They don’t want to belong to a party with the controlling factor that wants to impose their morals, values and norms on all. Look at the demographics of the last5 election, Republicans lost Blacks, Latinos, Aisians, Gay, Labor, Females aand the Youth of the nation. We have a larger developing demographic change that will end the GOP as we now know it. Remember the MCCain-Kennedy Comperhensive Immigration Bill(Amnesty). It will return under another name(it will pass) and 13 to 30 million will be given amnesty and the right to vote. Over 90 percent will be registered Democrat. The following election all four border states will go Democrat and in a short time so will the whole country. The GOP will go the way of the Whigs and those that continue to follow the reactionary political ideology of the right wing of the GOP will wander in the political wilderness for a posible lifetime. This would be a sad future for a 21yr old with his mind molded in far right conservative cultism. Change is possible, throw off the bonds of hate radio. Change your head and you change your game.
